The 2.0L Zetec Inline-4 used in the 1998-2003 Ford Escort ZX2 , Ford Contour, and 99-02 Mercury Cougar used VCT on the exhaust camshaft.

#1 · Sep 4, 2017 Hi ! I just came back from service where I did not solve my problem with the 1.6 Ti-VCT engine on my FF MK3. For some time, I noticed that, with the stationary car, when the engine rises above 1500 rpm there is a trembling of the engine, wich IS NOT present at relanti (under 1500 RPM)
